Ynyshir Albions Football Club
Ynyshir Albions Football Club is a proud, community-focused football club competing in the second tier of Welsh football, the JD Cymru South. The club enjoys strong and growing support, regularly attracting healthy crowds to home fixtures. A recent boxing day game held at the ground attracted nearly 1,000 visitors, demonstrating the clubs reach.
In addition to senior football, the ground is used extensively by the local boys’ and girls’ football club, with teams ranging from Under-5s through to Under-16s. This ensures year-round use by players, families, coaches, and supporters, creating a genuinely inclusive sporting environment. Across first-team matches, youth football and social events, we estimate an annual footfall of approximately 10,000 people through the site.
This consistent level of engagement has highlighted the need for improved facilities, leading the club to develop plans for a new on-site community hub. The project is fully prepared to move forward, with planning permission approved and detailed designs completed. The proposed development will significantly enhance the matchday experience, expand community use, and create additional opportunities for events, hospitality, and social activities.
To unlock external grant funding currently being discussed with funders, the club must first demonstrate its own financial contribution to the project. As a result, we are offering a range of commercial sponsorship opportunities, including naming rights for the bar and lounge, allowing partners to align their brand with a well-supported football club and a major community development.
All sponsorship contributions are made directly into a dedicated Crowdfunder UK campaign, ensuring transparency and security. Funds are held safely until final funding approval is granted, and in the event the project does not proceed, all monies are returned in full.
For sponsors, this partnership offers high-visibility brand exposure, long-term association with a respected community institution, and access to a broad demographic audience – supporters, families, young people, and local businesses – across an estimated 10,000 annual touchpoints. Supporting Ynyshir Albions FC means investing in both a competitive football club and a lasting community legacy.

Ynyshir Albions Football Club is offering naming rights and sponsorship opportunities linked to a proposed community hub development, including the Bar & Lounge naming rights at our ground in Ynyshir, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The club competes in the JD Cymru South, attracts strong matchday crowds, and benefits from year-round use through senior football, youth teams from Under-5s to Under-16s, community events, and private functions. This sponsorship forms part of our own contribution towards the proposed development. All sponsorship payments are made into a dedicated Crowdfunder UK campaign, where funds are securely held until major grant investment is confirmed. In the unlikely event that funding is not secured, all sponsorship monies will be returned in full by Crowdfunder UK.
For partners, this is a high-visibility opportunity to align with a well-supported football club, a major community project, and a growing audience—delivering regular brand exposure and strong community association.

Other Partners
Ynyshir Albions FC is already supported by a number of established local and regional partners across trades, professional services, hospitality, and community organisations.
The proposed community hub project has also received backing from Sport Wales, who have confirmed a £15,000 contribution, demonstrating confidence in both the club and the wider community impact of the development. In addition, our Crowdfunder UK campaign has already raised over £20,000 to date, highlighting strong grassroots and public support for the project.
We take a considered approach to partnerships and actively avoid category conflicts, ensuring sponsors are not positioned alongside direct competitors and retain clear brand ownership within their sector. Full details of existing partners and exclusivity options are available on request.
Investment
There are 4 major sponsorship opportunities that we have with the community hub:
1) The naming rights of the hub indefinitely – This has now been taken
2) Sponsorship of the hub – for example The John Smith Community Club sponsored by XYZ
– This would be on a 2-year sponsorship arrangement – cost £5,000 for 2 years
3) The naming rights for the bar and lounge indefinitely – The XYZ Lounge and Bar
£10,000 forever
4) Sponsorship of the bar/lounge – for example The John Smith Lounge sponsored by XYZ
– This would be on a 2-year sponsorship arrangement – cost £5,000 for 2 years
Although our preference would be for all donations to be made through Crowdfunder page in one go, should you wish to make payments such as the naming rights over several years then this could be arranged. We would request as much down payment as is possible, and an agreement to be put in place thereafter.
