We are 20785X Nova, a competitive VEX Robotics team based in London, at Queen Elizabeth’s School Barnet. We are participating in the current VEX VRC season High Stakes
Our team has qualified for the UK National Championship, and are ranked 1st in the country for our age group. We have won 3 awards out of the 4 competitions we have entered, and believe that these results will undoubtedly lead to exposure on international stages, as we have in previous seasons. 20785X Nova has won the prestigious Community Award at the Worlds Championship in 2022.
A public display of your company’s commitment and contributions to the development of young STEM students through our custom clothing, competitive robot and large following on social media, will solidify your reputation, but also provide increased local and international recognition.
Target Audience
The VEX VRC Competition is aimed at ages 14 to 21.
Key Dates and Timings
The UK National Championship is to be held on the 1st of March, and to make sure we are fully prepared, we request funds be available by the 20th of January.
Specific Opportunity Details
So far in this season, our team has participated in 4 regional competitions at John Warner School (Hoddesdon), Beach Grove School (Dover), King Henry VIII School (Coventry) and Stowe School (Stowe). We will be participating in competitions at our own school (Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet) on the 8th of February, Radley College (Radley) on the 9th of February, and the UK National Championships. However, new regional competitions frequently open up, many of which we will enlist to maximise our team’s number of awards and popularity.
We have won 3 major awards, making us a notable team in the UK, and have a strong network of communications with other teams, within the UK as well as internationally. We have an active Instagram account (@nova20785x), with frequent posts made after every competition, and a follower base of 365 followers. We are planning on setting up a Youtube channel as well for further exposure for our team.

A contribution of £250–£500 (Bronze Package) would significantly help cover the costs of parts required for our remaining regional competitions. Funding of £500–£1,000 (Silver Package) would assist in covering expenses for the National Championship, while contributions of £1,000–£5,000 (Gold Package) would be invaluable in supporting our participation at the Worlds Championship.
