Sheffield Chamber Orchestra
Founded in 1950 and celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, Sheffield Chamber Orchestra is a dynamic ensemble of talented musicians dedicated to presenting rich and varied repertoire for chamber orchestra. Performing three or more concerts per year in venues including All Saints Church, Ecclesall and Victoria Hall, we pride ourselves on vibrant programming, high artistic standards, and an inclusive approach to music-making. We are a registered UK charity, number 508649.
Our audience is diverse and deeply engaged. It includes:
• Long-time concertgoers and supporters of the arts
• Families, students, and lifelong learners
• Local professionals and business leaders
• Members of Sheffield’s rich cultural and academic communities
Partnering with Sheffield Chamber Orchestra is more than a branding opportunity – it’s a shared investment in culture, community, and the future of music in Sheffield.
Your sponsorship will directly support:
• Artistic programming (soloists, new commissions)
• Community and educational outreach
• Access initiatives for underserved audiences
We’re happy to tailor a package to suit your marketing or CSR goals—such as supporting a youth music workshop, sponsoring a soloist, or collaborating on content creation.
Your support will help ensure our orchestra continues to thrive while expanding access to the joy of live music in Sheffield.
Target Audience
Our audience includes a mix of ages from young to old, and is generally older skewed (50s and older). Attendees are predominantly resident in South West Sheffield.
Key Dates and Timings
For Season Sponsorship our Season Ticket offer is being promoted now until 29 November 2025. Therefore the deadline to act as a season sponsor is early November 2025, although to maximise exposure it would be advantageous to secure sponsorship as soon as possible.
For concert sponsorship the deadline is two weeks prior to each concert.
Specific Opportunity Details
We are seeking sponsors for our 2025-26 season with concerts taking place on 29 November 2025, 21 March 2026 and 13 June 2026. We are promoting our Season Ticket offer across social media during summer 2025.
We also welcome interest in sponsoring just one of the three concerts in our 2025-26 programme.
The November 2025 concert is on the theme of water and titled “Where the Water Flows…”. It includes a brand new composition by British composer Dominic McGonigal.
Our March 2026 concert features the Bruch violin concerto performed by emerging young virtuoso violinist Esme Greenwood.
Our June 2026 concert features the magnificent work by Haydn, “The Creation”, for which we are partnering with Sheffield City Choristers.
