Queen’s University Ladies Rugby Club
Queen’s University Ladies Rugby Club in Belfast is a thriving and ambitious club, competing at the highest levels of university and provincial rugby. With three competitive squads, we offer pathways for players of all abilities while proudly representing women’s sport in Belfast and beyond.
Our 1st XV competes in the Ulster Premiership and were the proud Junior Cup champions last season, lifting the trophy at Kingspan Stadium. They continue to perform at the top level of Ulster rugby, with several players also representing Ulster during the summer.
Our 2nd XV, established in 2019, provides a welcoming space for players who are newer to rugby or seeking a more social playing experience. They compete in the Ulster Championship B League, offering an accessible entry point into competitive rugby.
Our dedicated student side, the Valkyries, compete in the Student Sport Ireland League against other Irish universities like UCD, UCC and Galway. Last season they enjoyed remarkable success, winning both the Division 3 Cup and the league title, securing promotion to Division 2.

Key Dates and Timings
The sponsorship package runs for the 2025/26 rugby season, with jersey sponsorship opportunities available from September 2025 through May 2026.

1. Club Jersey Sponsorship – your logo on our jerseys at every match
• Front of Jersey (2s XV) – £1,500
• Back of Jersey (1/2s XV) – £1,000
• Sleeve Sponsorship (1/2s XV) – £500
2. Individual Player Sponsorship
• £100 each
• Sponsor an individual player for the season
Our matches attract strong attendance from the student community, with regular coverage on the Queen’s Sport social media channels and rugby league networks like Front Row Union.
