Project Apis CIC
Project Apis CIC is a grassroots, nonprofit organisation on a mission to make beekeeping accessible to everyone, regardless of background, income or ability. We set up community-run apiaries across Norfolk and Suffolk, bringing people together to learn beekeeping, improve mental health, and boost biodiversity in their local area.
With over 40 active volunteers and partnerships with schools, churches, and community groups, we provide hands-on education, therapeutic experiences, and environmental impact, all while supporting declining pollinator populations.
Why sponsor us?
Your brand can be seen at the heart of an inspiring, nature-focused movement. Sponsors receive branded exposure on beekeeping suits, hives, and digital content, along with direct community engagement and ESG data reporting. Whether you want to boost your CSR profile or connect with a loyal, eco-conscious audience, we offer meaningful visibility with measurable impact.
Together we can grow more than just hives, we can grow hope, skills, and stronger communities.
Target Audience
Our work appeals to a wide and diverse audience, particularly those who are community-focused, environmentally conscious, and interested in education, wellbeing, and sustainability. The majority of our regular volunteers and participants are aged 18 to 65, including families, retired individuals, educators, and young adults looking for meaningful ways to engage with their community.
We also work closely with local schools, meaning we regularly support children aged 7 to 16 through workshops and interactive sessions. Many of our projects are tailored to individuals with additional needs, those living with mental health challenges, and people from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds who may not otherwise have access to green spaces or nature-based activities.
Our reach includes neurodivergent families looking for home-school styled education, people recovering from addiction, and those referred through social prescribing services. This inclusive approach creates a strong sense of local pride and community ownership, and gives our sponsors a powerful connection to a wide and compassionate audience.
Key Dates and Timings
We are currently seeking sponsors for the remainder of 2025 and to continue throughout 2026, with opportunities available immediately. Sponsorships can begin at any time and last for a minimum of 12 months, depending on the level chosen.
We install new apiaries year-round, with peak activity and public engagement from April to September during the beekeeping season. Sponsors can join ahead of specific site launches or support ongoing work across all locations.
Specific Opportunity Details
We are offering sponsorship opportunities across our community apiaries in Norfolk and Suffolk. Each site supports local volunteers, schools, and wellbeing groups through hands-on beekeeping.
With over 40 active volunteers, two apiaries running, and 13 more in development, our reach is growing quickly. We currently have a small social reach but we are quickly reaching new people and organisations, with regular updates and sponsor recognition across platforms.
Sponsors gain brand exposure on suits, hives, and online content, along with a strong connection to community, education, and environmental impact.
