NP&JOY Entertainment are seeking sponsorship for their production company as they perform SAVOY – Everybody’s Doing It at Edinburgh Fringe.

 

NP&JOY Entertainment is a newly formed production company, based in London, founded by two talented producers, and performers, Julia Joy and Norbert Potornai. Julia and Norbert used to run their own company based in Budapest Hungary for 10+ years until 2019. After relocating to London they decided to found their own producing business, creating their first show, SAVOY – Everybody’s Doing It, that premiered at the Phoenix Arts Club in London, 2022.

Their original idea with SAVOY was to translate Hungarian operetta hits into English and weave them into a new play written for an adult audience. The performance was created with the support of the Liszt Institute in London and achieved overwhelming success with both Hungarian and British audiences. This success encouraged the creators to continue working on the performance. After a long creative process, a new version of the show was born that will be featured for a month this August at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a great international theater catalyst. Our goal for the festival is to lay the groundwork for SAVOY!’s future performances in London, hopefully on the West End.

We are currently primarily seeking support for our production at the Edinburgh Fringe, we are also open to long-term collaboration. We are also working on organising a US tour and a future London run within the next two years.
