John Costello
This is a chance to support a determined darts player right at the start of his professional journey. My name is John, and I’m on a mission to earn my PDC Tour Card and become a Major Champion by 2028. I’m seeking a sponsor to help fund my 2026 Challenge Tour campaign and be part of my journey from local league to the world stage.
I started playing darts at 10, competing in pub leagues and small tournaments before stepping away at 18. In early 2024, I returned to the game — entering the UK Open qualifiers (where I averaged 60 across both legs!) and using that setback as fuel to rebuild.
Since then, I’ve launched ‘Ain’t Got a CALU’ on TikTok to document the grind from pub player to pro. I now play in local ADC events and Merseyside pub leagues, averaging mid-80s and climbing fast. My progress, discipline, and story are all being shared publicly, with a growing online following rooting for the rise of “the scouser that’s going to take over darts.”
I’m looking for a sponsor who wants to be part of that story — someone who believes in potential before the world catches on.
Target Audience
Darts has one of the most passionate and loyal fanbases in the world — spanning working-class fans, pub culture, and prime-time TV audiences. Events are broadcast globally (including via Pluto TV, PDC YouTube, and DAZN), and social media engagement in darts is booming.
As Ain’t Got a CALU grows, the sponsor’s brand will reach fans who love authenticity, personality, and the underdog story.
