Imperial College Women’s Rugby Football Club
Imperial College London Women’s Rugby is a diverse, inclusive, and committed club with a consistent membership of around 25-30 Imperial students, including both undergraduates and postgraduates studying at one of the highest levels of STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths, and Medicine) internationally.
Last season, we achieved great success in our British Universities & Colleges Sports (BUCS) league. Competing in the Women’s South Eastern Tier 1 after a promotion the previous year, we successfully finished in 3rd place. In addition, we won our annual Varsity match against LSE at The City Varsity for the fourth consecutive time.
With the women’s rugby World Cup approaching in 2025 and being hosted in England, women’s rugby is gaining momentum. We are excited to be part of the growth of the women’s game by committing to developing our team and actively contributing to the rugby community. So far this season, we have participated in events with teams from London, the UK and internationally.
With our success come increased costs for running our club and allowing more students to discover and develop their rugby skills. We have specific expenses, including transport and coaching fees, that need to be covered. Therefore, we are seeking sponsorship for the remainder of the 24/25 season and the upcoming 25/26 season, and we feel your brand would be an ideal match for us. We would love to discuss potential sponsorship opportunities, such as branding on kit, marketing emails, advertising, and Instagram posts.
Target Audience
Predominantly 18-25, with a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Highly social and engaged in team sports and academic pursuits, particularly in the fields of STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths, and Medicine).

Event sponsor: The City Varsity
An exhibition rugby match between Imperial College London and London School of Economics, held annually at the world-class facilities of Rosslyn Park RFC. It is a completely student-led initiative and aims to remain an event created by students, for students. It has proven to be a great success in previous years with hundreds of spectators attending to witness both men’s and women’s game and the trophies – JP Morgan Shield and the Rees Rawlings Cup – being awarded.
