Forton Cricket Club
We are a family-oriented cricket club in Forton, Shropshire established in 1948.
Running 5 senior cricket teams, competing across 4 different leagues, along with a junior academy catering for 6-17 year olds, we provide opportunities to the local community. Forton were the original trailblazer in lades cricket, among the first teams in the county formed in 2005, a team still competing today, a remarkable feat for a small village cricket club.
Forton Cricket Club is recognised as Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) and is accredited with Clubmark status by England & Wales Cricket Board.
Target Audience
Our reach is varied – outside of the obvious cricketing community, we host numerous events throughout the year at the club, the club is also hired by a variety of people for various differing functions.
We are also home to a nursery on site.
In short, our reach is not limited to any section of people, we cover a wide range of demographics.
Key Dates and Timings
The 2025 cricket season runs from April until September, although there are events held throughout the year. All sponsorship runs from April-March.

We have opportunities available for player sponsorship and ad-board sponsorship.
Both come with full social media coverage, across our highly active Instagram, Facebook and YouTube platforms, free tickets to our sponsors day and more, including internal club communications, advertising boards across the ground and referral opportunities.
