Éire Rowland-Evans Skeleton
Éire is Ireland’s first female skeleton athlete in over a decade. Since beginning her journey in 2023, she has made history as the first Irish competitor at both the Junior European and Junior World Championships, placing inside the top 20.
Already holding 10 national records, she is pushing qualifying for a future Winter Olympics. Éire is adept at giving talks and delivering taster sessions. There’s also the opportunity to place logos onto her Skeleton kit which will be seen on the IBSF social media and on all televised races.

Skeleton appeals to a wide range of people who are interested in Winter or Extreme Sports. It is often referred to as ‘F1 on Ice’. It is an exciting, dangerous and fast sport where anything could happen. It requires great mental and physical attributes.
Key Dates and Timings
The Skeleton race season runs from November-February. During this time there are races across Europe, North America and Asia. Last year Éire competed in the Junior (u23) World Championships and also the Junior European Championships. Her sights for the future are set on competing at a Winter Olympic Games. Éire has the possibility of qualifying for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Cortina which will take place in February 2026.
