Doncaster Demons are the senior women’s team who play rugby at Castle Park. We were recently promoted into the RFU National Challenge 1 league, and continue to grow in membership.
Some interesting facts about the women’s team:
It is the leading amateur grassroots women’s rugby team in the area, adopting professional values and aspirations.
The team trains on Tuesday and Thursday evenings; attracting up to 30 women at each session (and this continues to grow).
We are 100% inclusive and have players from 18 – 45 years of age participate in training sessions, and regularly compete in league matches.
Recently promoted into the RFU National Challenge 1, following top of the table league win in the 2022/23 season.
Doncaster Demons are affiliated with Doncaster Phoenix (the amateur men’s club whose home is also Castle Park).
Demons home matches attract an ever increasing numbers of spectators to support the women and the club overall.
The away games can be located across the country. Recently travelling to Carlisle for example.
The Doncaster Demons are fortunate enough to provide a welcoming, safe, and rewarding space for all women 18 and over, regardless of playing experience, to learn, train, and compete in rugby.
To ensure the continuation of the team’s success so far, attract new members, and drive women’s rugby in Doncaster, we need businesses in and around Doncaster to get behind the team and propel the women’s game forward with us. Sponsorship is usually 1 season. However we can look at longer sponsorship and would welcome this discussion.

Season = September – May
Summer tournament = May – August
Specific Opportunity Details
We have an increasing number of supporters at home games and when it’s a local Darby or top of table clash, we can attract up to 200 people. Our online and social media insights show we reach over 1000 people and have often hit 2000 from our posts. Something we are proud of, especially as this is all designed and delivered from the players in the team.

Depending on the level of sponsorship would result in different benefits. However bespoke packages can be made.
