Dartmouth Academy are seeking sponsorship as they have the opportunity for their pupils to take part in the Borneo 2025 Expedition.
Dartmouth Academy Borneo 2025 Expedition – Dartmouth Academy is working with camps international to allow pupils at the academy the opportunity to take part in a 4 week expedition to Borneo taking part in community and conservation work.
Target Audience
Audience will be all family and friends of the pupils taking part. Pupils age between 14-16 and parents are in age range 30-50.
Key Dates and Timings
The activities are running from now until May 2025. Key dates so far are:
8th December 2023 Christmas Fayre
16th July Sponsored walk with all 27 pupils from Torquay to Brixham along the coastal path.
24th, 25th and 26th August Dartmouth Royal regatta running entertainment tables for Families on the green.
These are the confirmed dates so far for collective events.
Individual pupils will also be taking part in separate events
Specific Opportunity Details
There are 27 pupils signed up to go each pupil is doing different activities to raise monies to help them go on the expedition. These include sport activities, racing, rowing and cycling. Others are taking part in activities including, quiz night and bingo nights. Christmas Fayres and the Dartmouth Summer regatta 2024.
Features and Benefits
Depending on level of sponsorship, logo of company can be printed on to the pupils expedition T-shirts. All pupils can use their social media platforms to acknowledge sponsorship and companies involvement. They will also provide photo's of the work and activities that they take part in when in Borneo and the events before hand for the company to use in their promotions.

Local companies have already contributed, these include Aldi, Garden time, Dart Marina Hotel, A & M doors, Green Dragon pub, Singing kettle café and Big Bake Torquay.
