Cornwall Powerchair Football Club

Cornwall Powerchair Football Club isn’t just about sport — it’s about freedom, confidence and community. Based in the heart of Cornwall, we give powerchair users the chance to experience the thrill of competitive football in a fully inclusive environment. Our players range from children to adults, all united by the same passion: the love of the game and the determination to play it their way.

Powerchair football is fast, strategic and full of energy — and it’s one of the only team sports in the world that allows people with severe physical disabilities to compete on equal terms. For our members, this isn’t just an activity; it’s independence, belonging, and a vital lifeline for both physical and mental wellbeing.

As a sponsor, you won’t just be supporting a club; you’ll be helping change perceptions of disability sport across Cornwall and beyond. Your brand will be proudly associated with courage, inclusion and local pride — values that speak louder than any billboard. With regional competitions, social media coverage and strong links to the local community, we can showcase your business as a champion of equality, teamwork and empowerment.

Partner with us, and help keep the wheels turning for Cornwall’s most inspiring team.

Target Audience

Our community is diverse, loyal and proudly Cornish. Players range from teenagers to adults in their 50s, many living with complex physical disabilities who use powerchairs for daily mobility. Around them is a wide circle of supporters – families, carers, volunteers and disability-sport enthusiasts – creating an engaged and inclusive fan base that spans ages 10 to 70+.

Spectators tend to be family-oriented, community-minded and socially active, with a strong local following across Cornwall and the South West. The wider audience includes health professionals, educators and local businesses who share an interest in accessibility, equality and wellbeing.

Our demographic is roughly a 50/50 mix of female and male – people who value authenticity, resilience and positive social impact. Sponsors can expect brand visibility among audiences who care about inclusion, teamwork and the human side of sport.

Sponsors gain association with a long-standing community club that stands for inclusion, teamwork and resilience — qualities that align strongly with forward-thinking brands.

Partnering with us isn’t just good publicity; it’s a genuine investment in community spirit and the visibility of disability sport across Cornwall.

Features and Benefits

Sponsors of Cornwall Powerchair Football Club gain a strong local presence, meaningful brand alignment, and a direct link with one of Cornwall’s most inspiring community sports organisations. We offer flexible partnership packages designed to suit all levels of business, from local enterprises to national brands.

Opportunities include:
• Brand visibility on player shirts, equipment, banners, and at match venues throughout the South West Powerchair Football League.
• Advertising exposure across our website, social media channels, match reports, and event promotions.
• Community engagement through joint campaigns, PR coverage, and features in local press.
• Hospitality and networking at fixtures, club events, and sponsor days — giving partners a chance to meet players and see the impact of their support first-hand.
• Product sampling and promotional collaborations, particularly with local Cornish businesses looking to connect with families, carers, and disability-sport advocates.

We’re committed to making sponsorship mutually beneficial — not just logo placement, but a true partnership. Together we can build visibility, trust and community impact, while showing what inclusive sport can achieve when local and corporate support come together.

Other Partners

We’re proud to be supported by a growing network of trusted partners who share our values of inclusion, teamwork and community spirit. Our current supporters include AJM Healthcare, specialists in mobility equipment and wheelchair services across the UK, and Magic Marketer, an independent Cornish publishing and digital marketing company.

We’re now looking to welcome additional sponsors who align with our ethos — organisations that value accessibility, innovation and authentic local engagement. Each partnership is carefully managed to avoid overlap between competitors and to ensure clear, exclusive visibility for every brand involved.

Investment

We’re seeking sponsorship support between £500 and £5,000, depending on the level of partnership and visibility required. This can include cash investment, product or equipment support, or promotional collaborations that directly benefit our players and club development.

Every contribution makes a tangible difference — from funding specialist powerchairs and maintenance costs to covering travel, training and league expenses. We’re flexible in how partnerships are structured and happy to discuss tailored arrangements that align with each sponsor’s goals and budget.

Whether you’d like to fund a team kit, sponsor a player, or support a community event, your involvement helps keep inclusive sport thriving in Cornwall.

Other Info

Cornwall Powerchair Football Club has been running since 2006 and is one of the longest-established disability sports teams in the South West. We’re part of the South West Powerchair Football League and affiliated with the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA), ensuring that all our activities meet national standards for safety, coaching and inclusion.

We’re proud to have trained players to national standard, including Amy Lee-Julian, who also now plays for West Bromwich Albion ‘Throstles’ Powerchair Football Club — proof that Cornish talent can thrive at the highest level of the sport.

The club is entirely volunteer-led and relies on sponsorships and fundraising to keep participation affordable and accessible. Every contribution — financial or practical — directly supports disabled athletes across Cornwall, helping us maintain specialist equipment, fund travel, and promote powerchair football within schools and local communities.

This is more than a sponsorship opportunity; it’s a partnership with a trusted grassroots organisation that’s been empowering players, families and supporters for nearly two decades. Your backing will help ensure that powerchair football continues to grow and inspire in Cornwall for years to come.
