Castles of Conquest

Castles of Conquest is more than a cycling event — it’s a movement to raise awareness for men’s mental health, rooted in personal experience and driven by community.

Founded by a teacher and father who struggled with poor mental health in silence for years, this event was born from the realisation that men often carry emotional burdens alone. After a solo bike ride turned into an emotional lifeline, the idea became clear: to turn that ride into a shared journey — one that says, “No man should have to ride alone.”

The event takes place on Sunday 27th July 2025, covering a 90-mile route starting and finishing at Chester Castle, passing through Holt, Caergwrle, Denbigh, Rhuddlan, and Flint — a meaningful journey through both stunning landscapes and iconic Welsh castles.

We are partnered with British Cycling and proudly support the mental health charity MANUP?, which encourages men to speak up, seek help, and break the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Why Partner with Us?

As a sponsor, your brand becomes part of something real, meaningful, and community-driven — with benefits including:
• Positive brand alignment with a powerful, socially conscious cause
• Visibility through social media promotion, event banners, rider kits, and post-event coverage
• Media interest — we are already engaging with BBC and ITV to help share this story across the UK
• Engaged audience of cyclists, families, schools, mental health advocates, and communities across Wales and the Midlands
• Opportunities for team involvement — sponsor staff are welcome to ride, volunteer, or attend the event

Your sponsorship isn’t just helping an event happen — it’s helping men feel seen, supported, and less alone. It’s showing that your organisation is more than a logo — it’s a force for good.

Let’s ride together — for a cause that truly matters.

Target Audience

The event is mainly aimed at men aged over 18, it is open to all over the age of 18 and people of all cycling abilities from beginner to pro can take part. So long as they have the desire to complete the route.

Key Dates and Timings

the event will take place on July 27th. Sponsorship is required ASAP in order to secure resources such as signage and hydration essentials. Whilst the need for items will no longer be needed after the event, I am hopeful that this will become an annual event with the opportunity to expand and recreate in Rotherham parts of the UK bringing the message to more people and exposing brands to a bigger audiences .
