
Arsenal and Liverpool name Google Pixel as mobile phone sponsor
English football giants Arsenal and Liverpool have both struck long-term partnerships with Google Pixel.
Contract:
- Pixel to be the official mobile phone sponsor of both clubs
- Pixel to create exclusive content covering men’s and women’s teams, as well as tech-driven experiences
- Liverpool to launch their first dedicated women’s soccer show on YouTube alongside Pixel
- Pixel to collaborate with Arsenal to deliver exclusive pitchside footage of every home Premier League and Women’s Super League (WSL) game
Context:
Earlier this summer, Google Pixel was announced as the mobile phone sponsor of the England national soccer teams in an expanded partnership with the Football Association (FA).
Pixel has committed to help close the visibility gap between men’s and women’s soccer, and the partnership with Arsenal and Liverpool will see a strong focus on producing content around their respective women’s teams.
