My name is Florence Basten and I’m a 14 year old aspiring race car driver from Nottingham. Next season I want to race in the JSCC (Junior Saloon Car Championship), where I would be driving an upgraded Citroen saxo, and I would be travelling the country to race. Racing is my dream but it’s very expensive and my family wouldn’t be able to afford for me to race in this championship, which is one of the cheapest i can race in at this age. This is why I am writing this email to offer you a sponsorship opportunity to sponsor me and my racing. Your company can give a maximum of £50,000 (which is way more than I need!) which would be used to pay for parts of the car, tires, fuel, travelling costs and maintenance costs. In return, your company name and logo would be on my car and posted on my social media and in my bio. This would give your company branding opportunities, exposure and access to a wider range of customers. Another thing that would look good for your company is that I am a girl in a male-dominated sport so your support would show your company values of inclusivity and would be an amazing branding opportunity. My experience in racing is that I have done track days, rental karting and I currently do sim racing, in all of which I have been successful, so I believe that I will do well in the JSCC. I also have played football against boys from the age of 6 so I know how to stand my ground against the boys.
