Wilmslow Hockey Club
Wilmslow Hockey Club is a successful and growing local hockey club with 2 Mens, 5 Ladies teams, and 3 Junior teams. The club is run by volunteers as a not-for-profit organisation. We are one of very few clubs in the NW with our own astro pitch, car parking and on-site clubhouse.
Target Audience
Our membership of ~250 is aged 5 – 80 plus ~150 parents of junior members. Our members and parents live in the affluent “Golden Triangle” of Cheshire and are generally interested in sports and an active lifestyle. The main demographics are 5-18 and 25-55.
Key Dates and Timings
The hockey season is September-April but we welcome new sponsors for 12 months or longer at any point in the season. E.g. one sponsor signed up for 3 years, others renew year on year.
Specific Opportunity Details
We estimate 10,000 people visit our site during the year and many more visit us on social media. We have several sponsorship options available: from a pitch side banner (small or large), to sponsoring an event, a team shirt, multiple teams or even the whole club. We are always open to suggestions from sponsors to maximise value for them. We support our sponsors via regular social media posts (Instagram 1500 followers / Facebook 700 followers)

We have several options available from a pitch side banner (small or large), to sponsoring an event, a team shirt, multiple teams or even the whole club. For example, we have previously had a sponsor for our juniors section and an equipment sponsor as our 1st team shirt sponsors and equipment provider. There are many options for sponsorship and we are always open to suggestions.
Investing in a banner with your chosen logo/branding at our astroturf pitch (which gets over 10,000 visitors per year from home and visiting teams) is a popular option with our sponsors. As part of this package we would use your logo on our website and social media (Instagram 1500 followers / Facebook 700 followers) and you could attend a number of club events in the year to promote your brand. The smallest banner package is just £350 for an annual sponsorship. Sponsorship payments can be spread over several months if needed.

Wilmslow is one of the most affluent areas of the country and many of our junior members attend one of several private schools in the area.
