The Funny Life Film Festival
The Funny Life Film Festival is an international comedy film festival held in London each year. We are devoted to the advancement of comedy filmmakers and to warm our audiences hearts as they laugh their socks off!
As the only comedy film festival to be a member of The AIFF (The Association of Independent Film Festivals), we champion comedy filmmakers and comedians at our festival, bringing filmmakers and lovers of comedy from all over the world together to laugh, learn, network and celebrate comedy!
Every comedy filmmaker needs to start somewhere. Not only do we give filmmakers that platform to screen their first comedy films but also provide workshops and networking to help them onto the next stage of their career. Our alumni include the makers of the hit West End comedy show ‘The Play That Went Wrong’, feature film makers ‘The Shakespeare Sisters’, whose first feature film screened with us and whose third feature is now hitting cinemas worldwide, as well as new comedy filmmakers who have made short comedy films on a shoestring but have met new collaborators at our festival.
Over the last four years, our comedy film festival has grown exponentially and, in order to keep screening comedy films, hire venues and offer workshops, talks and networking events to comedy filmmakers and the wider comedy community, we are now looking for sponsorship.
Target Audience
We appeal to anyone who loves comedy!
As well as a strong following from filmmakers, both those who have films in the festival that season and filmmakers who love our festival or have had their films in previous seasons, we also have a strong fan-base of people who love and support independent comedy film and those who loves to laugh which, to be honest, is most people!

Specific Opportunity Details
We welcome audiences of up to 1000 to a 100 seat cinema and other spaces in our venue over a weekend of screenings, workshops, talks performances and networking. Our next festival will be on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March 2026 in North London. Over the past four years, we have developed a strong and loyal following within the comedy filmmaking and comedy communities and foster an ethos of inclusion, spirit and community.
