IPSWICH & DISTRICT BOWLS CLUB
We are a community focused bowls club providing both Indoor and Outdoor bowling for people of all ages. We have excellent facilities, including a bar and restaurant and meeting rooms and are looking for a sponsor for an Outdoor tournament in 2026
Target Audience
We would be hoping to attract bowlers – male and female – aged 18 – 80 plus their guests. We would have a BBQ or other food as well as the bar being open all day and a quiz in the evening.
Key Dates and Timings
The Tournament is a whole day event and would start at 10 in the morning lasting until 4 in the afternoon. It will probable be held at the start of the season (May) or end of the season (September)
Specific Opportunity Details
The club has over 500 members, but we are looking to invite bowlers from all clubs in the Ipswich area (and a bit beyond) to participate in our tournament. This is a new innovation for us and we know that tournaments are very popular in the bowls world. There are at least 40 clubs that would be invited to have representation in this Tournament.
Features and Benefits
The sponsor would be able to have advertising in both the Indoor and Outdoor club and have members of their organisation play in the event – even if they dont have any experience of bowls – and would be able to promote their business to all participants. We would also be advertising the event in local news and social media.
