Molesey Boat Club
Molesey Boat Club (MBC) are aspiring to send a group of their High Performance Women’s Squad to race at the Head of the Charles Regatta, in Boston Massachusetts. MBC is a British Rowing High Performance Centre in Surrey, developing athletes who wish to go to the Olympics and Paralympics, but also those who wish to compete at club level. MBC’s women’s squad have had a brilliant season this year, culminating in winning the Wargrave Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta, one of the most prestigious international rowing events. The group racing at Head of the Charles includes 5 women from the winning Henley RR boat, past and present members of the GB rowing team, and an Olympian! Our aim is to win both the Championship and Club Eights categories, which given the strength of our performances so far is certainly attainable.
Target Audience
The primary target audience is sportspeople, especially rowers, but also friends and family of competitors. There’s a diverse age range as the event offers categories from youth to veterans.
