I’m William Black, a proud transplant recipient and athlete preparing to represent GB at the World Transplant Games 2027, held in Leuven.

This extraordinary event is not only a celebration of life and resilience, it is also the third largest multi-sport event in the world, supported by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), following only the Olympic and Paralympic Games in scale and significance.

This prestigious event brings together transplant recipients from around the world to compete, inspire, and raise awareness about the power of organ donation. Athletes and teams from 60 countries are set to take part.
