East Anglia Wildlife Ambulance
We offer the public a service free of charge.
If they find an injured wildlife animal and they do not know what to do or cannot get the poorly animal to a rescue centre we will collect and take the animal on to a relevant rescue or rehabilitation centre. A lot of centres do not have the facility to collect animals themselves and they receive hundreds of calls a day.
Target Audience
Our target audience can be anyone. Particularly those who are out and about a lot and come across an injured animal. Even an animal venturing into someone’s garden and getting harmed by a cat. We were helping a 16 year old girl the other day who had a bird with an injured wing. We assisted a business with a lapwing the other week who flew into a factory window.
Key Dates and Timings
Sponsorship is required to just keep us running. Currently we rely on donations from the public and our own funds, which isn’t sustainable long term. Funding from a local council was rejected due to being a more widespread area. Lottery funding was declined due to not helping the community direct. But animals still need our help!
Specific Opportunity Details
We run an ‘ambulance’ throughout East Anglia, predominantly in Norfolk and Suffolk as that’s the majority of where our calls come from. We can receive up to a dozen calls or messages a day, either through our dedicated phone line, WhatsApp or Facebook
Features and Benefits
Firstly, the peace of mind that they are helping towards getting injured animals to the right places to be cared for. But we are more than happy to use any stationery or window stickers they wish to supply. We will give them a shout out on Facebook and hashtag them. We can add our sponsorship thanks to any email signatures.
Other Partners
No brands at the moment. We are in our early stages of trying to get sponsorship
Investment
Cash investment would be amazing.
Anything that is suitable to assist, our biggest expense is fuel. So if the sponsor does not want to just give a monetary value, a prepaid fuel card would be sufficient, or access to use of a business fuel card.
Currently we use our own family car, so would benefit from a vehicle we can transform into an ambulance so everything is ready to go, rather than having to load up our car, saving us time to get out to an animal quicker.
