Ben Dignan is looking for sponsorship to support him throughout the season as he prepares for the World & British Trials Championship

World & British Trials Championship – My name is Ben Dignan, I am a rider in the Trial2 World Motorbike Trials Championship which is the 2nd top class at this stage. This will be my 3rd year in this category and 2nd year riding for Montesa-Honda. I was born 24-04-2003 in Fort William, Scotland but I have lived in Northern Catalonia for the past 2 years riding for a development team under the current 34 time World Champion Toni Bou.

I moved to Spain alone to have the best possible opportunity to develop my skills but due to unforeseen circumstances I will be returning to the highlands of Scotland this year. In 2018 I was crowned youth B British champion and then Adult A Elite British Champion in 2019 as well and being the first Scottish rider to have a podium and medal in the Youth European Championship coming away with 3rd in the championship overall. In 2020, during the struggles of covid, I was 3rd overall in 125 World Trials Championship coming away with my first win and 3 podiums and being the first Scottish rider to do so.

In 2022 I made the step up into the Trial2 class, arguably the most competitive class housing over 40 riders. This year we will be competing in 7 countries: 5 in Europe and 2 out of Europe as well as competing across all of Britain in the British Championship.

Partners can benefit from a season pass to all events of the World Championship. Company logo space on my helmet and riding kit in either the tier 1 or 2 category, with limited space these spots are closing up pretty fast as well as social media coverage. I have 2.3k followers on Instagram and still looking to grow with more coverage on all socials including YouTube.

Target Audience

My target audience will appeal to a wide variety of people young and old. The UK, Spain, Italy and France lead the way with fan support. The sport has evolved in the last 10 years from being a more male dominated fan base to a sport that attracts males and females from the ages of 5 til 80

Key Dates and Timings

Sponsorship packages run throughout the whole of the season from start to finish. The British Championship will start on the 21st of April at Millom and the first round of the World Championship will take place in Japan on the 17-19th of May. With the final events being on the 1st of September for BTC and the 13th/14th of September in Spain for the WTC but events will be held until the end of October. It is possible to sponsor single events throughout the season.

Specific Opportunity Details

Tailor made packages can be made through some negotiations and are always available.

Trial GP currently has 33k followers on social media but with changes from the organisers there has been more coverage across the sport with TV footage being played live for the events which is looking like it is progressing forwards as well as the sport going back to stop allowed this will hopefully push the sport further out there.

Features and Benefits

All sponsors will get coverage on all my socials and have a spot on my riding clothing. Season passes for the World Championship are available as well as entry fees for the British Championship. Private promotional events are also on the table.
