Wiltshire Citizens Advice are looking for sponsorship for their 11 mile charity walk.

 

Wiltshire Citizens Advice – We are an independent charity committed to helping people find a way forward by providing free, confidential advice. We also use our clients’ experience to campaign for positive change to make society fairer. Every working day more than 50 people seek our help in resolving their problems. Last year in Wiltshire we helped more than 14,000 people. Our advice doesn’t just solve problems, it changes lives too.

We are organising an 11 mile fundraising walk from our Trowbridge office. We have offices in Chippenham, Devizes, Trowbridge and Salisbury. We will be advertising the event across the whole of Wiltshire as well as on our social media platforms. We reach a large number of people. Any organisation that sponsors us will be working towards their Corporate Social Responsibility.

Specific Opportunity Details

We are primarily looking for sponsorship for this one event. The event is part of a National Citizens Advice iniaitive for local Citizens Advice office to raise money, The event is called "Go the Extra Mile" which is what staff and volunteers do every day working for Citizens Advice. We have decided on an 11 mile walk from our central office in Trowbridge. The reach is across the whole of Wiltshire.

Our local website had more than 100,000 visits last year, 309,113 visits to the Citizens Advice website were from Wiltshire.
