The Shots Foundation charity are looking for sponsorship to support them as they aim to improve their community reach.

The Shots Foundation are a charity (Charity number: 1172414) affiliated with local football club Aldershot Town FC. We are looking for new sponsorship to improve our reach in the community. At the moment, we run visually impaired football sessions, Veterans events, after-school football clubs, football holiday camps, walking football and many more.

We are looking for funding for new initiatives and to improve the effectiveness and longevity of our existing one’s.

Target Audience

In our work, we appeal to all ages, but predominantly the youth (ages 4-18). Our demographic are sporty, as we are a football club.

Key Dates and Timings

The events are ongoing, so they last indefinitely. We are looking for one-off or ongoing sponsorship.

Specific Opportunity Details

Visually impaired football - We are working with local charities (Open Sight Hampshire, Sight for Surrey) to keep the love of football alive for those who have lost their sight. These are ran in Aldershot, at the moment numbers are low and we need a promotional push. This is a very rewarding initiative that we want to see succeed.

Veteran's Hub - We are looking for funding for improve facilities that are more suited to the veteran. This includes, better seating, and a stair lift. As we are growing, we need to use another, larger lounge upstairs, and require a stair lift for this to be possible. Other sponsorship would also go towards food, drink and other complementary entertainment we put on for the Vets Hub.

School clubs - We are seeking funding to help with the hire of facilities, purchase of more up to date equipment and payment of coaches. Keeping young people engaged and happy in sport is so important to us and to keep our clubs fresh and of the highest quality are essential in its upkeep.

Matchday experience - We are looking for funding to improve our matchday experience. Appealing to the younger generation is of upmost importance, so we are doing our best to engage them. Any funding would go towards pre-match activities and fun that would keep the younger generation interested in attending football.

New initiatives - We are looking to start new initiatives, so if a sponsor had an idea of their own, we would be open to fulfilling that.

Features and Benefits

Sponsors would receive branding and advertisement from the foundation and also the football club itself. If a sponsor was to provide funds for a pre-match activity (e.g., Football Darts), they would receive branding on that activity. If one was to sponsor an initiative they would receive advertisement. Advertisement would be on social media, and also at the football games. There are over 1,000 in attendance every home game, we would include our sponsors in our pages in the match day programme which would be received by large numbers of supporters, improving the companies reach.

Other Partners

We have no long term existing sponsors that support the foundation. We have one-off sponsors that support a single projects/events, this is something we are open to changing. For example, we have received funding from Qualcomm for a pre-match activity for matchdays. But, we are looking for a sponsor for the foundation as a whole as well.

We are looking for cash investments. Amounts vary depending on what is sponsored, generally we are looking for investments at £300 to £5,000
