My name is Terri-Louise Brown I am a mummy, business owner and I am the founder and CEO of Talks with M.S.

I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in March 2016 after becoming paralysed from the waist down.

In November 2016 when I created Talks With M.S. I was in pain both physically and mentally but I knew I wanted to help people with their battle! My brother being diagnosed over half a decade prior I had already seen the disease first hand

Talks with M.S. is a registered charity which acts as a big brother/big sister platform that allows people to speak freely with other’s

We provide talks and webinars to increase knowledge of Multiple Sclerosis and provide health advice and support

We operate peer lead support groups to discuss and share experience of symptoms, treatment and living with the disease

We are continuously raising awareness and supporting opportunities for participation in medical research into the disease

Partnering with. us will be an amazing opportunity for a company to continue in the mission to create a more inclusive society and be part of a disability based charity which will be a great opportunity for the company’s EDI.

Target Audience

Our main audience is people that have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and thier friends and family. We also have alot of people with invisible disabilities that connect with us.

Key Dates and Timings

Disability Expo - 6th & 7th July 2023

Talks With M.S, Micro Retreat 12th & 13th August 2023

Specific Opportunity Details

In July we will be part of one of the biggest Disability Exhibitions which will be held in the Excel centre - The Charity will have a stand and I the founder will also be speaking on one of the panels.

The second event will be a small retreat held in the Mercure Hotel in Milton Keynes which will be for 20 people with. Multiple Sclerosis and it will be an opportunity to be around people who get what they are going through in a more intimate setting as we know that numbers can sometimes be overwhelming especially when speaking on being diagnosed with an incurable disease.

we have ove 2,000 people within our community and our goal is to continue raising awareness but as a newly registered charity everything comes with a cost and I am currently self funding all the events.

From May 2022 we have been putting on in-person events which all range from £2,000 - £3,500 a time.

I have been funding it because I know it is needed and I would like to continue this but as a mother of 1 it is now seemingly expensive as we continue to grow.

As part of the package the sponsor will. have their logo on all promotional items including all promotional boards in which pictures will be taken in front of. They will be mentioned on all social media platforms including any recaps when the above mentioned events are finished.
