Scotland Excel is looking for sponsorship for their Supplier Excellence Awards 2023

Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards 2023 – Scotland Excel was established as the Centre of Procurement Expertise for the local government sector in 2008. We are a leading non-profit organisation serving Scotland’s 32 local authorities and over 100 associate members from across the public and third sector.

Our awards offer an unparalleled opportunity for organisations to showcase your brand to senior professionals from some of the most influential public, private and third sector organisations in Scotland.

The Scottish public sector spends more than £13.3 billion a year buying goods, services and works. Your organisation’s support of Scotland Excel’s Supplier Excellence Awards places your brand front of mind with key influencers and decision makers in this sector, while raising your organisation’s profile across Scotland’s public procurement community.

As a supporter, you’ll have the opportunity to network and make personal contact with the decision makers who use your products and services.

Our award’s ceremony is attended by up to 500 senior decision makers from across the public, private and third sector, including politicians, chief executives, finance directors, procurement buyers and more.

And it’s not only the glittering awards ceremony that offers opportunities for your organisation. We also manage an extensive, integrated marketing and communications campaign that targets; our 1000+ suppliers from across the UK and Ireland, and our membership that comprises Scotland’s 32 local authorities and 145 associate members. Our campaign ensures your brand gains national exposure and is aligned with the best in public sector procurement.

As a supporter you will feature on our dedicated Holyrood Communications awards website on our own website, Twitter (1,600+ followers) and LinkedIn (5,600+ followers) Paul Cook, DAF Trucks, supporter of the Supplier Excellence Awards 2020 said: “Supporting the awards has given us a great opportunity for us to build our brand, network and show our support for the public sector in Scotland”.

There are several opportunities available, which are listed below. And we are happy to work with you to accommodate bespoke requests to suit your budget and objectives.

Have a look at our short promo film from our 2020 ceremony and get in contact to discuss how your brand can get involved.

Target Audience

Our audience is made up senior decision buyers from across the private and public sector.

Key Dates and Timings

The event is on 11 May at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow. Your sponsorship will begin as soon as we agree on a package. It will continue after the awards through our partnerships with The Herald, Holyrood Communications and our own press and social media activity.

Specific Opportunity Details

The awards are the only one of its kind, delivered by the Scottish public sector which focuses on suppliers. They give organisations of all shapes and sizes the invaluable opportunity to share their achievements across eight award categories and have them recognised by their peers and customers.

Supporting the awards will give your organisation the opportunity to reach up to 500 senior private and public sector buyers on the night. However, it will also give you access to our extensive marketing and communications campaign that targets our 1000+ private sector suppliers, the 32 Scottish local authorities and our 145 associate members.

There just over four weeks until the event on 11 May, held at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow. You can find out more about the awards in our dedicated website section (this is constantly being updated and is one of the places where supporters will be featured with a full page profile and/or other content, e.g. video that can include more information on products and services).

The Herald are our media partners for the awards. This will mean that our marketing and communications reach will be more extensive than previous years. The Herald is part of Newsquest who own more than 250 titles across the UK, reaching more than 41 million digital users every month and 7 million paper readers. I’ve negotiated a reduced article and advertising package rate with them for supporters and can pass these on if you decide to get involved.

In addition to pre and post communications with the Herald, we will also be running articles, social media and video through our event partner Holyrood Communications that sits within the Scottish Parliament and is often the first port of call for politicians and business leaders.
