Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are running a Schools Green Skills Summit in October 2024 and are looking for sponsorship to fund the event. The event will be run by the charity Interclimate, and the day will consist of a UN style debate in the morning, a green careers fair at lunch, then a question time with local council leaders and businesses in the afternoon. As a result of this conference, we hope to focus on engaging with young people from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds and existing attitudes towards climate change, connecting the global reality of climate change and its effects, with opportunities for local action and sustainable career choices.

In terms of benefits for your organisation, by sponsoring the event you will enhance your brand visibility, connect with the future workforce, and contribute to your corporate sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.
