Preston Caribbean Carnival

 

Preston Caribbean Carnival celebrates Caribbean culture with a vibrant traditional event attracting over 30,000 visitors annually.

Featuring award-winning costumes, steel pan music, Caribbean cuisine, and family-friendly activities, the carnival offers unique promotional opportunities to sponsors, including branding, direct engagement with attendees, and exposure through multi-channel marketing.

Target Audience

Family-friendly audience, diverse age range from children to seniors, with strong appeal to those inter-ested in music, culture, and arts. Predominantly local and regional attendees but with appeal extending nationwide.

Key Dates and Timings

24 May 2025 – Reggae Festival on the park with reggae artists headliners Janet Kay and the Carroll Thompson, The queens of British Lovers Rock, sound systems, Caribbean foods and drinks

25 MAY 2025 – Carnival Day from 12noon with street procession, steelpan, samba, large piece carnival costumes and many dance troupes and other participants following large decorated trucks. Family fun day follows on the park with live stage performers, soundsystems throughout the park, kids activities, music, dance and Caribbean food and drinks.

Specific Opportunity Details

Opportunities include sponsorship of the main stage,decorated trucks in the carnival procession, branding of sound system tents, and promotional banner placements at the park.

The procession at-tracts 20,000 onlookers, and the park events draw crowds with live music, performances, and food concessions. Social media and website exposure are also available.
