King’s College London are looking for sponsorship for their Jhalak Diwali Show which raises money for charitable causes in India.
Allow us to introduce the King’s College London Jhalak Diwali Show, a venerable 31-year-old tradition dedicated to celebrating Diwali while raising funds for charitable causes in India. Organized by the KCL HinduSoc, this event has evolved significantly, now attracting attendees from across the UK, including students and non-students from diverse backgrounds.
Our society and its members share a deep commitment to celebrating our rich culture and heritage with pride. The Diwali Show exemplifies this commitment while simultaneously supporting charitable causes. It stands as the largest student show in London, and we take pride in being the only non-profit event that donates all proceeds to charity. However, as a student society, the success of this grand event relies on sponsorships and support from generous individuals and organizations such as yourself.
This year, we are honored to have Professor Kapur, Principal and President of King’s College London, as our guest, and discussions with the Indian High Commission for their participation are underway. We enjoy the support of the KCLSU president and have secured exclusive radio coverage with Lyca Radio. With an anticipated attendance of around 600 people, our event serves as a significant platform for cultural celebration and charity support.
