International Charity Night are looking for sponsorship for their Manchester-based event.
International Charity Night – We are a group of approximately 30 students organising a charity event based in Manchester in early March. Our event is called International Charity Night (ICN) and it will consist of a main event showcasing various countries food, traditional clothing etc. as well as having music and dance performances amongst other forms of entertainment; the main event will be followed by an after party at a nightclub venue with multi-genre DJ’s showcasing international music. We are set to have 500+ attendees, this event will aim to bring different cultures together for one night and spread awareness for our charity Mary’s Meals.
Mary’s Meals is a charity working in over 20 countries across the globe, providing primary school aged children with a meal a day. More information can be found about them here: https://www.marysmeals.org.uk/. The organiser of this event has successfully run a similar event on a smaller scale, this event raised £3000 for Mary’s Meals and had 300 attendees. This time with a much larger team and access to more resources in a bigger city, we aim to double this.
International Charity Night is a student ran event, we are looking for monetary donations to cover the cost of running this charity event in order to maximise profits on the night which we send directly to Mary’s Meals as well as donations in the form of prizes for a raffle we will be running at the main event. Any type of support would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way, we would be willing to promote your brand to our diverse group of student and non-student attendees both at the event itself and on our social media accounts and any other forms of marketing we put out as well as the accounts of associated societies at the University of Manchester, MMU and the University of Salford.
