Imperial Racing are seeking sponsorship to support their team as they set to take part in the F1 In Schools competition.
Imperial Racing – F1 In Schools: We are a group of Year 8 pupils from St Paul’s Junior School taking part in the F1 in Schools competition as a team called Imperial Racing and in need of a sponsor too. As part of the competition, pupils are encouraged to seek out sponsorship to help them design, manufacture and race miniature F1 cars whilst showing pride in their team and creating a solid profile through their kits, hence why we are looking for sponsorship.
The F1 in Schools program is a nationwide STEM competition focusing on providing young pupils with an exciting yet challenging educational experience through the medium of Formula 1 and motorsport. Teams are required to design, model, build and test a small-scale F1-style car using modern manufacturing and prototyping techniques in order to race and compete against other schools and teams. They will create a scale ‘pit display’ in which designs, models and iterations for both the cars and graphic design can be showcased to a wider audience within the competition. They will also be required to present their work, in a verbal presentation, to a panel of experienced judges both from engineering and F1 backgrounds to better showcase their journey and how they achieved their final design. All culminating in a final timed race in which aerodynamics, weight and reaction time of the operator all play a part in how quickly the car races down the track. It provides students with the opportunity to show both technical prowess through CNC and CAD work, graphics skills for their team identity, and most importantly allows them to display qualities of teamwork and working together as they come towards a common goal.
One of the appeal factors to the competition is teams are fully encouraged to seek out potential sponsors to help add to the resources of the team. If you decided to support Imperial Racing then they would make sure your company logo is featured on their car and team kit, displayed in their pit display and recognised in their verbal presentation.
