Investment

We are seeking a minimum cash investment of £10,000 to cover essential costs, including ecological surveys, diving equipment, and administrative expenses.

This foundational support is crucial for the initial stages of the project. Any contributions above this amount will significantly enhance our capabilities, allowing us to expand our outreach and impact.

Additional funding would enable us to collaborate with local schools, businesses, and the public, fostering community engagement and education.

Furthermore, increased investment would support the acquisition of extensive underwater camera monitoring technology, providing valuable data and insights to ensure the long-term success of the project.

We also welcome contra deals or product/promotional support, which can complement our efforts in making a tangible environmental difference.

Other Info

The project operates as a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning we are asset-locked and dedicated to serving the community and the environment rather than generating profit. This structure ensures that all funds and resources are reinvested into the project to further our ecological goals.

Our team consists entirely of passionate volunteers, including undergraduates, PhD students, and experienced divers, all working collaboratively to restore and enhance kelp forests along the Sussex coastline. We partner with local organizations, such as the aquarium, to provide educational opportunities and hands-on experiences for students and the community.

This collaborative approach fosters a strong sense of community involvement and empowers the next generation of environmental stewards. By engaging with schools and Brighton University, we not only enhance our research and conservation efforts but also inspire and educate individuals about the importance of marine ecosystems and sustainability.
