The Friends of The Hospital of St Cross are a charity who are currently seeking sponsorship for their Gala Fundraising Concert.
Gala Fundraising Concert – The Friends of The Hospital of St Cross in Rugby supports the Hospital with a wide range of voluntary services and donations of equipment and support for projects which improve the patient experience or bring NHS services closer to the people of Rugby.. The charity has a very strong connection with the community which has a great affection for the hospital. We thank our supporters in the publicity that we generate through our website and social media channels. The work of the charity has been recognised with a variety of awards including the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, an Award from the High Sheriff of Warwickshire and Awards from the Mayor of Rugby.
Target Audience
The target audience for the event will be adults of all ages who enjoy good music and community singing.
Key Dates and Timings
The event will take place on 10th March 2024 and will publicised from early January. Following the event there will be a press release reporting on the success of the event and this will remain on the Charity website indefinitely.
Specific Opportunity Details
We are seeking sponsorship for a Gala fundraising concert to the held in the beautiful Temple Speech Room in Rugby.
The performers in the concert will be The Big Sing (who recently appeared on Britain's Got Talent) and the nationally recognised Brass Band of Central England.. The venue can host up to 600 people!
We have over 1500 followers on Facebook, and Instagram. Our press releases are well publicised in the local press.
Sponsorship will be recognised in all the communications publicising the event and during the event itself.
The event is being organised jointly with the Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club and will support 2 local the Friends and two local charities in Rugby - Shine a Light and New Directions.

The posters advertising the event around the town as well as the possibility of a couple of banners to be put up in highly visible places in the town centre.
Tickets issued or booked on-line
Press releases (see example attached) and social media posts which will be issued to promote the event - we would expect, once again, to have the support of The Mayor of Rugby as she is a Vice President of The Friends and a former NHS employee! The A5 booklet quality printed programme for the evening which included a full page advert and some advertorial content.
An opportunity to speak at the event and display pull up banners or similar material. We would also endeavour to secure some mentions on BBC CWR.
