Ashby Show is a 1 day agricultural country show and they are seeking sponsorship to support the funding for the new aspects of their event.
Ashby show has been running for 107 years and is ran by the Ashby-de-la-Zouch & District Agricultural Society. We are a group of volunteers who help to run a one-day agricultural country show in the held in the heart of the national forest in the midlands. Our show attracts over 12,000 visitors each year from the surrounding area. We have over 260 trade stands, livestock and equine showing classes along with Showjumping. We have main ring entertainment every year in the main ring. We also have an elected President each year who is selected and invitied to become the president of the show. We also have a members area where sponsors are entertained too by the main ring side view, bar and lunch available inside the marquee. Depending on the sponsorship level some are invited to the Presidents Buffet Lunch and Afternoon Tea hosted by the President.
As we are a charity our charitable aims are to educate the local community and remove the divide between town and country. We have an annual Scholarship programme that we support from any profit made by the show is used to support any agricultural student in full time education or apprenticeships. Any other profit made is donated to local charities, of which the Air Ambulance is always a favourite to support as this service could be used by anyone.
This year we are adding an educational tent to the show, to be able to fund this we require sponsorship to pay for the cost of materials for the activities the children would be participating in. We believe this new addition will enhance the child experience of the show by teaching them about the countryside and how it is relevant in their daily lives.

Ashby Show attracts over 15,000 visitors as
well as trade stand exhibitors, competitors,
sponsors and members each year. It is a
wonderful family day out featuring cattle,
sheep and horse exhibitors, farm machinery
- old and new, Craft Fair, Show Jumping,
Shire Horses, Countryside Shops, Dog
Show, Main Ring attractions, Rural Crafts
Village, British Farm Produce, Catering and
Bars plus a wide selection of exhibits from
local business.
We have a large Members’ Enclosure with
private catering and viewing area for the
Main Ring and a separate President’s
Marquee at the Main Ring, for entertaining
invited guests. Business Sponsors can
have access to both these areas, depending
on the type of Sponsorship they choose.
Section Sponsors can sponsor an area
of the show, whereas Main Sponsors will
feature around the Main Ring.

Ashby Show is the most popular one-day Show in the Midlands with competitors for the
various classes travelling from all over the country. The aim of the show is to promote the
interaction between British agriculture and the wider public with a wide range of activities,

The Options
BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP
Main Ring and Section Sponsors will have
the opportunity to purchase extra tickets for
the Past Presidents’ Lunch for £20/person
but these will not allow admission to the
President’s Afternoon Tea.
There will be one distinct Main Sponsor for
each physical Section and you can choose:
typically Cattle, Sheep, Shire Horse, Horses,
British Farm Produce, Dogs, Craft and
Shopping Marquees, Village Green, Small
Livestock, Poultry, Caged Birds, The Sheep
